Privacy Policy

This is the public privacy policy of Xwits Developers Pvt. Ltd. ("Xwits", "we", "us", "our"). This page is written as plainly as we can while still being legally meaningful. If anything is unclear, write to privacy@xwits.dev and we will explain.

1. Who we are

Xwits Developers Pvt. Ltd. is an AI automation company registered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We build AI-powered software products — XWorks Suite, Marketing Autopilot, and Custom AI builds. This policy covers the website at xwits.dev and the cases where we are the data controller for personal information you give us directly. It does not cover the situations where one of our partners has white-labelled our product under their own brand — in that case, the partner is the data controller and you should read their privacy policy.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us — your name, email, company, country, and message when you fill in the contact form or join a waitlist.
• Information collected automatically — basic browser and device data (IP address, browser type, referring page) and analytics events (which pages you visited).
• Cookies and similar technologies — we use a small number of cookies for session continuity and analytics. We do not use third-party ad tracking.

3. Why we collect it

• To reply to your message or set up a demo.
• To send you product updates if you opt in (waitlist, newsletter).
• To understand which pages and articles people find useful, so we can improve the site.
• To detect abuse and protect the site.

We will not use form submissions or waitlist sign-ups to market unrelated products to you.

4. How long we keep it

• Contact-form messages: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Waitlist sign-ups: until you ask us to remove you, or until the product reaches general availability and you do not become a customer.
• Analytics: aggregated indefinitely; raw events for 90 days.

5. Where it lives

For the public website, data is hosted in India and the EU on commercial cloud providers. For our products, data hosting follows the partner's region of choice (EU, US, India, or APAC). Our security posture is documented separately at /security.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with:

• Sub-processors we use to run the business — for example, email hosting, analytics, payment processing. The current sub-processor list is available on request at privacy@xwits.dev.
• Regulators or courts if we are legally compelled. We will tell you about any such request unless we are prohibited from doing so.

We do not sell personal data to anyone. Full stop.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR (if you are in the EU), DPDPA (if you are in India), and similar laws elsewhere, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your data (with limited exceptions for legal obligations).
• Object to certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, write to privacy@xwits.dev. We respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Our website and products are not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. AI training and your data

We do not train foundation models on your personal data. Within our products, AI features may use your data to generate outputs for you — for example, drafting a marketing email in your brand voice — but those uses are confined to your account and are not pooled with other tenants' data.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we will note it on this page and, for active accounts, email you. The "last updated" date at the top of the page tells you the most recent revision.

This policy is a starting point that will evolve as we onboard customers and reach new jurisdictions. We will update it openly when material things change.
